At the birth of my daughter I was assisted by a doula and felt the benefits of the physical and emotional support. Through my work as a makeup artist I would meet parents who did not experience the same. My passion is to advocate for expecting and new parents with evidence based information. I'm excited to connect with you!
My passion lies in supporting birthing families to help them have their ideal birth experience, and to help change outcomes for families of color. We all need a supporting village, and I am here to be a part of yours.
The best births happen when you bring your whole self into the room! I am passionate, flexible, and comforting, but also grounded, no-nonsense, and strongly evidence-based. I am especially drawn to support people who can feel unseen in standardized birth, such as younger, older, single, LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and plus-sized parents.
As a Full-Spectrum Doula I help birthing people become in tune with their instincts, while promoting empowerment, peace, and joy. I am a part of the Birth Comadres Doula Collective with other bilingual Latinas. I volunteer with Giving Austin Labor Support. I am also a Milk Donor Program Assistant at Mother's Milk Bank at Austin.
I am a mother of two beautiful souls that loves everything birth and baby. My love for doula work started the first day I heard the word doula while I was in massage school. From that point on I studied everything I can get my hands on. I am currently a full spectrum doula and also training to become a doula educator.
I'm a queer and non-binary person who grew up on the borderlands of south texas. I'm drawn to this work out of deep desire for us to feel free in our bodies and in our communties. The liminality of these experiences has much ability to transform us, and I am available to be present through the process using laughter, grounding, and fire.
