I found a passion for reproductive justice while completing my MSc Human Rights at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2012.
After working in the tech world for several years as a data analyst, I decided to merge my two loves: advocating for birthing individuals and using an evidence-based, data-driven approach to birth.
I have been passionate about childbirth and birth options since I began my journey to motherhood in 2005 with my first pregnancy. Since then, I have had 4 children (including hospital and home births) and in 2015 kick-started my doula career with the birth of my niece. I love serving families of color, VBACs, and anyone fighting for their birth.
Hi, I'm Grace. My pronouns are she & her. I became a doula because I wanted to help more people move through birth and new parenthood with dignity, compassion, and joy. My philosophy is this: You deserve to be supported completely. I believe in you. And together, we’ve totally got this.
As a young child I learned from my dad (a vet) that when an animal has pups, my job is to be still and make them feel calm and safe. I bring those principles into my doula practice as well as my parenting. Patience, confidence and holding space, I will work hard to make sure you feel supported and answer your questions.
I am an American Expat living in Zurich, Switzerland. I have been working as a pre- and postnatal yoga teacher since 2005. By working with the body and breath, I teach practices to find peace and calm amidst the busy-ness of modern life. As a full-spectrum doula, my aim is to ensure you feel cared for, listened to and respected.
I equip modern parents with the tools and knowledge to birth and parent how they feel is best. I know as a pregnant mother I spent way too much time planning and researching. My hope is that my presence will allow you to be present and intentional during this amazing time in your life.
I’ve come into full spectrum doula work after more than a decade of growing a family through infertility, loss, births, adoption, and abortion. There is no perfect way to build a family, birth a baby, be a parent, have an abortion, or be in your mind/body. I honor that with what I do as a doula and documentary photographer.
I'm a counselor advocate working with sexual assault survivors. My ambition to become a certified birth and postpartum doula is to educate, empower, and support parents during their birth and parenting journey.Besides, my mission as a doula will be to advocate for reproductive rights, esp. of those who face systematic oppression and discrimination.
Called to birth work after hearing the birth stories of several former students and realizing this was another way I could directly serve communities through reproductive and sexual health, education, and support, I have now been a doula for 3 years, serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas.
Everyone deserves compassion, education, and support

Since Jasmin was 19, her career path has led her into birth work. She has been redefining what that looks like for her over the last 8 years. One thing that drew Jasmin close to doula work was being able to build relationships with people and offer them resources they would be able to use, reuse and pass on information. She would love to chat!

I am a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator and student midwife. My studies in biology and anthropology ignited my awe of the human body; essentially studying the vastness of humankind at the micro and macro level. The trainings, my mentors, and my first birth (as a doula) honed my interest in reproductive health and education.
